hue enables homeowners to control the lighting schemes in their homes from anywhere in the world via any iOS or any Android device

hue comes as a user friendly starter kit that includes three LED bulbs that fit into any standard light fixture and a bridge that connects to existing wireless routers. The system can be controlled from anywhere via any iOS or any Android device using a downloadable app. The app also allows users to personalize their lighting experience with custom settings, or program timers to help manage daily schedules.

There are a staggering 16 million colors to choose from and hue’s tunable white light technology means that the tone of the light can be adjusted from cool to warm based on personal preference. Even more impressively, hue is able to mimic the colors from your photo library by simply dragging and dropping photos within the app. Up to 50 hue bulbs can be managed and individually controlled from one device and lighting settings can be saved for future use. For those who need a little help, there are four pre-programmed light settings that adjust the bulbs to the optimum shade and brightness of white light to relax, read or boost mood and energy.
