Little Big Tubs: Ios and Edge Collections by Victoria + Albert

Small spaces continue to inspire bath designers at Victoria + Albert. The Ios and Edge collections are the latest scaled-down option for small spaces that can't compromise on style or proportion.

A tapered shape allows the tubs to occupy less floor space

The Edge design was born out of the success of the company's compact Ios line, which features a small-scale tub and sink in an oval shape designed for more traditional interiors. The Ios bathtub measures 59″ long by 31 1/2″ wide and 23 5/8″ tall. Its accompanying Ios 54 sink basin measures 4 7/8″ tall by 21 1/4″ long.

The Edge collection takes the same compact concept, but presents it in a cubic design ideal for urban interiors. The tub's generous 24-inch depth ensures a proper soak (and a double-ended design meant for two), but its 58 7/8" long by 31 5/8" wide footprint is made for tight spaces. The Edge 45 basin complements the tub with an identical rimless profile. The most compact basin that the company makes, the Edge 45 measures 17 3/4" long, 12 5/8" wide, and just 4 3/8" deep.
