The Housebook by Mr. Less and Mrs. More

Sometimes I like standing up and eating dinner in the kitchen. Although less relaxing, I get tired of the formality that a dining table brings. If I were to have the perfect place for the Housebook by Mr. Less & Mrs. More, I think I’d find a daily excuse to stand outside in my herb garden with a coffee and my google reader news in hand while watching the sun move across the sky.

While it resembles both a birdhouse and a mailbox, minus a few elemental sides that house and protect the contents of either one, the Housebook acts as a stationary butler to all of your stand alone needs. It’s a table, a bookmark, a coaster, a cubby hole and a great place to tuck a brightly colored easter egg. The design was created by Mr. Less & Mrs. More, an italian design team, and is described by them as being a table with a house-shaped figure.

Since the roof of the house is designed at the perfect angle for your current novel to lie relaxed on its stomach, it’s no wonder they created the “house floor” without two walls so that your beverage or pad of paper and pencil can be stored without question. The Housebook table by Mr. Less & Mrs. More measures 8.1″ x 8.1″ x 34.6″ H and is manufactured using sheets of strong metal with a textured white finish.

In a design that’s about the cutest thing your garden has seen since the first budding of the flowers, the Housebook by Mr. Less & Mrs. More will satisfy all those who choose to stand up or pull a delicate patio chair up the dainty house.

About the Designer: The mastermind behind the Mr. Less & Mrs. More website of sweet, practical designs is a young and aspiring Italian designer named Antonella Di Luca. Without much more biographic information to investigate on her website, Di Luca’s Mr. Less  & Mrs. More website exhibits several food trays and the Housebook as examples of her clever metalworking design.
