Post-Industrial and Post-Consumer: Betula and Perennial by Momentum Textiles

Momentum Textiles, the company that manufactures aesthetically pleasing fabrics for the healthcare market (and isn’t that a market that should always have fabrics to improve one’s mood?), is going green. Two recycled polyester fabrics, Betula and Perennial, showcase organic motifs in a material that’s made of 80% post-industrial recycled polyester and 20% post-consumer recycled polyester.

Greenguard-Certified Privacy Curtains

Betula and Perennial privacy curtains are intended for the healthcare market, where their designs and colors should do much to improve patient well-being. Their content also helps: both fabrics are Greenguard certified for air quality. Betula features a repeat of squares, some solid, some patterned, that includes the gentle sweep of flower stems and the graceful curve of plant leaves. Available in five colorways, Betula has cool, warm, and neutral tones. Root is the most bright and cheery, with oranges, golds, and sage greens.

Perennial has a repeat of elongated rectangles, so the fabric is more vertically oriented than Betula. It too offers scenes from nature, with wheat and fern flora. Also available in five colorways, Perennial is more subdued. Lavender and steel blue make the Fiord pattern as calm as a foggy sea. Brown, beige, and forest green make Terra Cotta as serene as warm sand dunes.
