Groove Room Divider by Luis Eslava Studio for LZF

“Beginner’s luck” or “Third time’s the charm” are sayings for doing something right the first and third time. For the second time  however, it seems the sayings associated are downers: “Terrible Two’s” or maybe “Double Trouble”. Thankfully, Luis Eslava Studio f is rehabbing the idea of getting it right the second time around with their #2 screen they call Groove for LZF.

For the Residential or Contract Interior Market, Luis Eslava Studio Created the Modern Groove Screen for LZF using Wood and Aluminum.

“A screen with organic, winding lines and the power to transform the light that comes through it,” is how the Groove screen begins in its description released by the Spanish duo of designers at Luis Eslava Studio and LZF, ” This piece, as the name suggests, conveys a feeling of movement. For many people, ‘groove’ means the feeling of an expansive rhythm or what gives meaning to swing.”

What’s great about this room divider or partition is its versatility that allows you to better define your space. Cast a light upon the decorative wall and interesting shadows scatter across the floor. The Groove can be configured in a few different ways too, allowing the end user a sense of mobility in the set up of their space. It can be used both indoors for residential spaces or indoors for the contract market due to its hearty strength made from natural wood and white-lacquered aluminum with an optional opal perspex backing. It comes in eight finish tones – like the wood of LZF lamps created by the same designer – and comes in a hanging or floor version measuring the same at 36″W x 78.93″H x 3.54″D.
