The Poured Glass tiles are made complete with a standard clear float glass. They can be custom manufactured if a project desires a low iron (colorless) finish, specialty finishes, and even etched designs on the tiles – all for an additional cost. Within the clear float glass, there is a resin interlayer that is used to manufacture the tile. Although it is rare, the expansion and contraction of the resin layer is different than the glass outer layer, thus making temperature the only issue for cracking or delamination in extreme cases.
